The use of thermometers in industries
Nowadays, the use of really advanced thermometers is very common in industries, since precise and quick measurements are fundamental.
There are a variety of thermometers available, each specially designed for specific tasks. Speaking of industries, there are two types that come in handy:
Rigid bulb thermometers
This type of thermometers is used in industries thanks to its features. Usually used in petrochemical plants to detect corrosion. They measure temperatures ranging from -200 ºC to 600 ºC and they are made of stainless steel.
Capillary thermometers
This kind of thermometers are known for their resistance, they are made of stainless steel which makes them weather-proof. They measure temperatures ranging from -200 ºC to 600 ºC in liquids or gas.
